We Are Expecting Massive Auroras!
We are expecting massive Auroras incoming over the next few days. There are quite a few flares and CMEs incoming with no end in sight right now to elevated activity. The next question will be whether this will continue to grow as it rotates around Earth, or will it blow itself out?? I will be posting video updates. Make sure you like and follow us on YouTube to help us out.

Do We Have More Auroras Coming?
Good afternoon, everyone! We woke up to the news that we had an X1.79 flare and CME. Don’t get excited yet. Fortunately for us, the CME was caught by a filament, which captured and pulled energy back toward the sun. We will get some activity from the flare, but not the blast from the CME. This is a good thing. Had this been released directly on Earth, it could have created issues with power, internet, and cell phone coverage. Not what we need in the middle of snowstorms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWAULtxz424&t=1s Now we do have some developing coronal holes opening on the northern and southern hemispheres. And some filaments by 4274 are developing enough to be a potential for eruption. And it looks like we have a new sunspot region on the incoming limb. There is a new sunspot 4279, which is just developing Alpha-class spot. 4276 & 4277 are beta-gamma, both are still dropping C C-class flares. 4274 has continued to reorganize. We are up by 24 new spots. Think of this like a hurricane, as…

Could We Get More CMEs From 4274?
I am sure many of our aurora hunters and wondering if there will be more CMEs from 4274? I think to explain we need to take a look at both observed patterns on the sun, what is happening and history. Then you can draw your own conclusion, make your predictions and see if you are right. To figure this out, I think we have to take a historical look at the pattern on your sun. Typically, Sunspots have been really active as they turn into the incoming limb, but then quiet to near no activity till they rotate past Earth-facing by about a day. As they get closer to the outgoing limb, their activity increases significantly and they remain very active on the back side of the sun. The main driver of any activity will come from 4274, which is drawing the majority of the sun’s electromagnetic energy. Statistics are telling us that this sunspot is down by 14 individual sunspots but has grown by 180 which in layman terms is it grew by nearly…

Has Sunspot 4274 Lost Power?
The question on everyone’s mind is whether sunspot 4274 started losing power. As sunspot 4274 rolls into Earth-facing, it seems be be taking a brief break. This is actually pretty standard behavior for sunspots to quiet just before they hit Earth-facing. It usually takes a couple of days and a rotation out of direct connection with Earth, and it will pick up activity again. 4274 is still Beta-gamma-delta and is approximately 1900 million miles across. If you look closely, you can still see a lot of green negative polarity peppered into the yellow and red positive areas. This means this is still highly unstable and can kick back in at any moment. We now have two new sunspots rotated into view and another developing. 4277 & 4278 are only Beta class sunspots and likely to stay that way as long as 4274 is strong and drawing power. They are still able to drop solar storms, though. 4276 is Beta-Gama and a little more organized than the other spots; it is kicking out some of the…

Factors Affecting Aurora Visibility September 1st
Stay informed about this weekend's aurora forecast and solar activity! Recent observations from the SDO/AIA 211 image reveal active regions.

Familiar Sunspots Is Re-Emerging
A familiar sunspots is re-emerging on the incoming limb. It is erupting in multiple coronal mass ejections (CMEs) as it crests into view. This is the same region that triggered auroras in late July. Impressively, it has completed its solar rotation with both complexity and magnetic density intact. While hidden on the far side of the Sun, this group was responsible for several significant CMEs. Now, it rotates back into the Earth-facing zone. It continues to produce M-class flares. The dense ejections signal sustained volatility and a potential for Auroras in the coming weeks.

Can Disaster Happen In The Blink Of A Solar Storm?
Solar storms are bursts of charged particles and magnetic energy from the Sun. They have been disrupting Earth’s technology and infrastructure for over 160 years. These geomagnetic events are often triggered by combinations of coronal mass ejections (CMEs), Solar flares, filament release, and Coronal holes. They can interfere with everything from telegraphs and railways to satellites and smartphones. As we enter a new solar peak, understanding their history helps us prepare for what’s ahead. Let’s take a look back through history and see the chaos solar storms have created. Beginning with the Carrington Event of August 28, 1859. This was the first time in history that we had technology that was affected by solar storms. What a wake-up call. Telegraph systems across North America and Europe sparked, caught fire, and operated without batteries. Auroras lit up skies as far south as Cuba and Hawaii. Miners in the Rockies woke thinking it was morning. Farmer were getting up to work their fields at midnight, thinking it was dawn. This was one of the largest events ever…

Will We See Auroras This Week?
It is August 9th, and we do have aurora activity coming through the weekend, but will we see it? Smoke from Canadian wildfires is at a low to moderate amount. It is going to blanket much of the US. The East Coast will be free of clouds, but it will have the worst smoke. We have a storm system moving out of the Dakotas into the Great Lakes region. Moderate clouds will persist across the north to the west coast. For those that are new to aurora hunting, some acts like a defused. A good way to understand this concept is to turn on a light bulb. Then put a sheet of paper between you and the light bulb. You will notice the light you see gets soft in color. This happens because the light rays are bent by the paper. Smoke, Sand, & Humidity will all do the same thing. This makes Auroras soft and flat without pillar definition. There has been regular M-class to C-class flaring last few days. Today, it is dissipating…

Cell phone Sanitizer, the gift that says Love.
Struggling for the perfect gift that really shows your loved ones you value them. This is beautiful, artistic. Cell Phone sanitizes phones in as little as 90 seconds. It can also deep-clean your phone in 5 minutes. Nothing speaks louder of loving someone than protecting them. What is the dirtiest thing you touch all day? Most of us never think about where our phones have been or what they have been in contact with. Our phones get set down on tables, counters, and fall on floors or into toilets. Our hands spend all day getting germs on them, then we touch our phones. Then, without a thought, we put phones next to our faces. Not to be gross, but our phones become a petri dish of all these contaminants. What if there was a way to protect yourself and your loved ones? Our Cell Phone Sanitizer/Charger is the perfect fusion of hygiene and convenience, designed especially for busy lives and thoughtful gifting. Equipped with dual UV germicidal LED, it operates at a powerful 270–280 nm…
